What We Believe

Our Foundation

We believe the Bible—both the Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture provides the foundation for our faith, doctrine, and daily Christian living.

God and Jesus Christ

The One True God

We believe there is one true and eternal God, Creator of all things. He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons united in one divine nature.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died as the sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father.

Humanity and Salvation

The Fall of Man

We believe humanity was created in the image of God. Through sin, people fell from fellowship with Him, bringing both physical and spiritual death to all humanity.

The Salvation of Man

We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and received through repentance and faith. The Holy Spirit transforms believers, producing lives marked by righteousness, holiness, and obedience to God.

The Church and Christian Life

The Ordinances of the Church

We believe water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances established by Christ. Baptism publicly declares a believer’s new life in Christ, while Communion remembers Christ’s sacrifice and anticipates His return.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe every believer should seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit. This distinct experience empowers Christians for holy living, effective ministry, and bold witness through the gifts of the Spirit.

The Initial Physical Evidence

We believe the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This experience is distinct in purpose from the spiritual gift of tongues.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of God’s Spirit, setting believers apart for holy living and enabling them to grow in Christlikeness through daily surrender and obedience.

The Church and Its Mission

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for those in need, and build up believers through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Ministry

We believe God calls and equips men and women for ministry, enabling them to lead the Church in worship, evangelism, discipleship, and compassionate service.

Divine Healing

We believe divine healing is provided through Christ’s atoning work and remains available today through faith, prayer, and God’s sovereign will.

Future Hope and Final Things

The Blessed Hope

We believe Jesus Christ will return for His Church, raising believers who have died and gathering those who are alive to be with Him forever.

The Millennial Reign of Christ

We believe Christ will return visibly to establish His thousand-year reign on earth, fulfill His promises to Israel, and bring lasting peace and righteousness.

Final Judgment

We believe every person will stand before God in final judgment. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will receive eternal life, while those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God.
