About our Father's Business Ministry

Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God

Betty Smith is the dedicated overseer of our "About Our Father’s Business Ministry". In her vital role, she leads our mission to serve and support our congregation in meaningful ways. We are committed to providing meals to church members who have been away for an extended period, individuals recuperating from surgery in the hospital, or families who are navigating the difficult times following a death. Our ministry ensures that nutritious and comforting food is lovingly prepared and promptly delivered to anyone in need who would like to receive this support. By extending our compassion through these efforts, we strive to foster a sense of community and care among our congregation, reminding everyone that they are never alone in their struggles.

Prayer Warrior

Our Prayer Ministry serves as a vital spiritual lifeline within our church family, anchoring our community in the transformative power of intercessory prayer. At the heart of this ministry are our dedicated prayer line prayer warriors, a faithful group spanning four states called to stand in the gap for those facing physical illnesses, emotional hardships, and the deeply personal journey of healing from past hurts and traumas. Operating with profound discretion, compassion, and spiritual urgency, these warriors lift up every need to the Lord, believing steadfastly in His power to restore and renew.

Prayer Tree

Complementing this active intercession is our beautiful prayer tree, a sacred, visible space in our church where individuals can openly share their burdens, hopes, and praises that Jesus has answered. By placing an answered prayer request on the prayer tree, members of our congregation invite the entire church body to see and honor what Jesus has done for them, a family member or friend. For some, instead of showcasing their prayer, we provide a simple leaf bearing their initials as a symbol that their prayer has been fulfilled. Together, whether through the targeted, fervent prayers of our prayer line or the shared community focus of our prayer tree, this ministry ensures that no one walks through their trials alone, fostering an environment where divine healing can flourish and God’s grace is ever-present.

Card Ministry

Price Chapel Church of God takes great care in supporting our church family and the wider community during difficult times. We regularly send out heartfelt get-well cards and comforting sympathy cards to our church family members.

Price Chapel Church of God will also, upon request send out  heartfelt get-well cards and comforting sympathy cards to community members, friends, and anyone else who may be in need of a kind word or uplifting message. These are made upon request, reflecting our commitment to fostering a spirit of compassion and connection within our community.
